You are all lovely :-) and Rob says thank you too.
There has been knitting too recently to keep me out of mischief. These are
Razor Shell Socks by Miriam L. Felton. The pattern is a free pattern, and I love it to bits. They took me eight days, from May 1st to May 8th, which is pretty blooming good for me with socks.
Razor Shell Socks
Yarn: Bonny ( Yarn Yard Sock Yarn )
Shade: Bloom
Needles: 2.5mm Clover Takumi dpns
And yet more Cranford Mitts. First up is a pair made for Anni in a recent Spring Santa swap.
And the reverse pair, a birthday present for mum
And the reverse of my first pair, knitted for my friend Yvonne's mum. All knitted using Yarn Yard Hug yarn, which is a merino yarn and it's fabulous.
And finally - can you tell what it is yet .........................................

Those socks are gorgeous (think i'll have to make some of these for me - i'm fed up of making socks for everyone at the mo lol)
I really like the Cranfords done in the opposite colours, they kind of remind me of those friendship best friends things where you keep one half and pass on the other - cool.
As for the shawl...I was going to out on a limb and say Kiri ;) :P
fabulous socks and love the knits:) Is it another FCS?
I love the Razor Shell pattern and I particularly like it in that yarn. It's lovely the way it diagonalises.
Look at you with another pair of socks!! LOL They are gorgeous.
Oh Linz if only it was! I WILL make Kiri one day I promise ;-)
It's another FCS, again in Yarnyard Yarn, I just love the colours.
I am so pleased with the socks though. I just knew the yarn and pattern would be compatible so to speak, and I was right!
I love your socks and thats a nice yarn for the latest FCS. You should make a swallowtail shawl as it is a nice quick one. I am glad things are looking better now and life is in perspective. x
Ooh I really love the socks, the yarn is gorgeous! Lovely Cranfords too.
I really wouldn't like to begin to take a guess at the shawl though :-)
